Cardboard box invites or regular invites?

So the budget that we had planned for our invites was decent enough for regular invites for some 600 people but now since there are gonna be very less number of invites to be sent, we can opt for many expensive ones with more per card cost! So if I was you, which one would you choose? Would you save that additional money or spend the pre-budgeted amount only?
