Does homemade face mask actually works?

Guys I really don’t believe that home made natural ingredient mask actually work and if they do, they take a lot of time to show results. I usually prefer going for face mask from different brands. Do you guys feel the same?

I totally agree that homemade mask takes time to show result but honestly I love the glow that it gives. I have been using fresh aloe vera gel and turmeric paste for my acne and it worked really well. Also sometimes I like use sheet masks as well from drugstore brands.
