Does Makeup artist charge double for venue visit?

I have heard from a lot of people that makeup artist charges a lot if you opt for venue makeup. Is that true with all artist? or does this depend on artist to artist?

As I know they charge a little high for venue visits.
But I would suggest you invite your makeup artist to your location although it is expensive it can be the best option for you!
