Hi everyone,
I’m looking for some advice on dogs teeth cleaning and what routines people are actually using successfully at home or with professional help.
My dog has started developing mild tartar buildup and occasional bad breath, and I want to stay ahead of any serious dental issues. I’ve seen so many different suggestions—daily brushing, dental chews, water additives, and professional cleanings—but it’s hard to know what really makes a consistent long-term difference.
For those who regularly manage dogs teeth cleaning , how do you usually maintain a routine that your dog actually tolerates? Is brushing at home enough if done consistently, or do most people still rely on professional cleanings once or twice a year?
I’m also curious if certain products or habits have noticeably improved dental health over time.
Any real experiences, simple routines, or practical tips would be really appreciated. I’d love to build something sustainable rather than something difficult to maintain.
