Excuses your friends & guests have given you for not attending your wedding

I am tired of people telling me they cannot make it to the wedding. So, I thought, I can't be the only bride who is dealing with this. Well, I created this post, at least to laugh a little even when it does sting a little on the inside, about the excuses they give for their absence, not realizing that their presence is what actually matters and not the duration of their stay.

What reason did they give you for bailing on your wedding? For me, it was mostly that my wedding is on a Tuesday - a weekday
