Hi all,
My fiancé and I recently got engaged, and we are beginning the exciting process of planning our wedding in India, about 1-1.5 years from now (tentatively around late December 2026).
At this stage, we don’t yet have a clear vision for the wedding — such as location, theme, or specific venues — so we are hoping to connect with an experienced wedding planner who can guide us from the very beginning.
We would love to learn more about how you work with couples in the early planning stages and how you might help us shape our big day.
A Few Details About Us- Guest count: Not yet finalized
- Location: Anywhere in India (we are open to recommendations)
- Events: Traditional multi-day Indian celebrations (Wedding Ceremony, Reception, and possibly Sangeet, Mehendi, Haldi, etc.)
- Venues: What locations in India do you recommend for destination-style weddings? Do you provide venue scouting and negotiation support?
- Budget Planning: Since we are still defining our budget, could you share typical budget ranges for weddings of different scales (luxury, mid-range, intimate) in India?
- Design & Concepts: How do you help couples who don’t yet have a vision? Do you provide sample themes, décor boards, or curated inspirations?
- Services: Do you provide end-to-end planning (venue, décor, catering, photography, travel, hospitality) or flexible packages depending on what we need?
- Timeline: What planning timeline do you recommend for a wedding ~16 months away? When should we secure venues and key vendors?
- Team & Coordination: How large is your on-site team during the wedding? Do you handle full execution and crisis management?
- Packages & Pricing: Could you share your fee structure (fixed, percentage, or hybrid) and what’s typically included/excluded?
- Experience: Could you share examples of weddings you’ve planned for couples who came to you at the “blank slate” stage like us?
We want to make sure we start this journey with the right partner who can guide us through each step, from setting the vision to executing a seamless celebration.
Looking forward to hearing from you and learning more about your services, packages, and process.
Warm regards,
Kal
