How did you pick your photographer?

I first set my bucket using my budget. That for me was the most beneficial of all. And, once I knew how many photographers were in my desired budget, I started checking their work on Facebook, their websites and Instagram accounts. I really wanted to see what kind of pictures they clicked.

So these things seemed to work really well for me and it made my job of finding a photographer a little convenient.

I judge a photographer by some shots that need to mandatorily be in the wedding album. e.g couple, couple candid, Mehendi pix in daylight, the posture of family members in a photo, the regalia of the wedding attire. I agree with you that you need to spend time with the photographer as it helps in being frank and you can be more open on the day of the event.
