I think you shouldn't stress about it right now. Maybe eventually you'd want kids yourself. So be open to changes. And, don't fixate your mind on anything just yet. Be open to possibilities and for now just enjoy the feeling of being engaged

We discussed this at length honestly. Adeline, I was upfront with him about my expectations. And, he was on the same page. Just sit with him once and discuss it. Don't say that you don't want kids. Rather, just tell him that you would want to wait for a while befre starting a family. Tell him eventually you two can think about having kids. He will understand. I'm sure.
