Hi, I'm looking for some advice on male Maharashtrian style engagement rings if anyone can please help!
I'm not Indian, but my partner and I are keen to blend our two cultures in our rituals. In my culture, it's traditional for a woman to propose to a man on a leap day (February 29th) so I would really like to get a ring for him by then. He's Marathi, so I want to get him something traditional.
Could anyone offer any advice on traditional styles? I'm in Australia, but should be able to find something in time when I visit a big city with a decent Indian population. If anyone knows of any particular jewellers in Australia that might be able to help, that would be brilliant. Otherwise, advice on traditional ring styles would be a huge help!
Thank you!
