My BFF called last night just to tell how excited she was and wants to colour coordinate her outfit with me.

I know she is my best friend and I feel happy too about the suggestion but in someway I feel she'll steal the show from me! Anyone else in the same boat?

She will understand. Talk to her. Tell her that you appreciate the gesture but at least on this day you'd like to keep a distinctive colour just for yourself.
