What I did was I made a list of what things will take me the most time. For example, venue bookings are a mad process and there is no way that I could have kept it for later. So, the first on my to-do list was to look for a venue or multiple venues for my functions.

So, this is a super subjective matter. But, in my opinion, start with the venue, then move to different vendors (from decorators to planners to caterers). Then move to yourself (All the shopping related needs - jewellery, outfits, shoes etc)
