You can also do it by yourself ,but where the problem starts is all the people around you will make you hurry at that point of time. You need a water proof or HD makeup that time and also it should last long. You can consult me coz i am also a makeup artist.

I think you should opt for a professional makeup artist now! I mean you can!

I did a full grooming course around 2 years back! we were taught how to do makeup and everything too! But keeping the 2 year gap in mind, I think I must try everything first!

I totally agree with Muskaan here! If you have faith on your makeup skills, you still must do a dry run kinda thing! See if you are able to pull off the look you'll wish to carry for your D-day

It depends on how well you do your makeup. If you are pretty well at your makeup then you can do your own bridal makeup (i suggest you to try your makeup before ua big day)
If u aint that well versed then its better to go for a makeup artist
