Who does the bichiya ceremony in your tradition?

In our tradition, the mother of the bride does it! Unfortunately, my bhabhi's mother expired a few years back so my mother said she only will do this ceremony for her😊 What about you guys? Who does it in your tradition?

    In our weddings, brides are made to wear foot rings right after the Pheraas and maang bharai!
