    I want to be the person who commits to all of these in life. But, not in this reality. I am sure in an alternate universe, I'd follow these to the 'T'

    @Divyam - Bang on bro! ;-)

    Few things that worked for us after our 2017 wedding

    1. We had 5 days of healthy(ish) eating and 2 cheat days - One weekday and one weekend! Healthy food doesn't always need to be bland - some innovation might be needed though Smiley laugh

    2. Include one physical activity - 1 hour a day - something that you enjoy - running, swimming, squash, gymming, yoga. You might need to spend some $$, but you will thank me later ;-)

    3. Alcohol in moderation with adequate hydration to go with! If there's a big party on the cards, avoid alcohol for the week and eat well in the morning.

    4. Sleep - 7 hours at the least. It's a therapy that comes for free and is undervalued.

    Hope this helps!

    Hey Anshika,

    I totally get your point but first? Take a deep breath!

    It is hard to keep up with diet after marriage but yes nothing is impossible and you can definitely turn your routine into a healthy one. If you really wish to shred some calories then one thing which excels is a morning walk and of course truckloads of exercise.

    I know it will be hard for you to join the gym, but yes you can opt for morning and evening walk but don't forget to keep up with the diet!!

    If you need any further assistance? Always happy to help!!

    Indian families are hard to deal with when it comes to healthy eating. What my experience says is,that, you fake a blood glucose problems and tell them that you need to eat carefully. They should hopefully listen if they want you to live Smiley smile. Rest you need to follow a healthy diet on your own or by following a dietician.

    Tada!
