I can totally get your point. One of my friends has gone through the same situation and the only thing they did was made each other parents talk in person. Took counselling from a senior one. And, it took them a while but yes now everything is sorted!

    Hey Shiny!

You don't need to worry. God is always going to help out. The only thing is you need to talk to both of the parents and let them also talk. Don't worry, everything will be fine

    Hey Shiny!

    Welcome to WeddingWire Community!

I hope you're doing well. Getting married is one of the most precious yet dainty steps, where you have to look out for each and everything before commencing the rituals and ceremonies. I totally get your point. Calm yourself and let's fetch a fruitful solution for your healthy marriage.

    1. The first thing I suggest is to arrange a meeting from both the sides and talk openly. The more you will talk the more things will settle down. Plan parents meet and make them talk with peace and harmony. I guess parents will get your efforts and longingness towards each other.
    2. Opt for a third priest/counsellor who can guide you towards a positive solution and take your parents along so that they can also get a clear image. Get your parents involved in each and every step so that they also approve of your efforts.

    3. This is a very sensitive decision where you need to understand both sides. The most important thing is to calm yourself and get married with full happiness and zeal.

I hope this helps you a bit. Let me know if you need any further help. Smiley smile
